By accessing or using PressReleaseBox ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for an account or submitting press releases through PressReleaseBox, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or your organisation.
2. Press Release Submission Standards
All press releases submitted to PressReleaseBox must:
- Be original, factual, and newsworthy
- Contain accurate information and verifiable claims
- Not contain misleading, defamatory, or illegal content
- Not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party
- Not be promotional content disguised as a news release
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
3. Editorial Discretion
PressReleaseBox reserves the right to accept, reject, edit, or remove any press release at its sole discretion without obligation to provide a reason. Submission does not guarantee publication. We may edit for formatting and length but will not change the factual content without your consent.
4. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
5. Payments and Refunds
Paid plans are billed monthly. All payments are processed securely through Razorpay. Refunds are not provided for partial months. If your press release is rejected under a paid plan with no prior rejections that month, you are entitled to one re-submission credit. Contact support within 7 days of rejection to claim this.
6. Intellectual Property
By submitting content, you grant PressReleaseBox a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, display, and distribute your press release on the platform and through our distribution network. You retain full ownership of your content.
7. Limitation of Liability
PressReleaseBox is not responsible for the accuracy of content submitted by users. We act as a distribution platform, not as a publisher in the editorial sense. Our aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting support. Published press releases may remain on the platform even after account closure.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
