Editorial Guidelines

At PressReleaseBox, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of journalistic integrity and quality. Every press release submitted to our platform is reviewed by our editorial team before publication. Please read these guidelines carefully before submitting.

Submission Requirements

All press releases submitted to PressReleaseBox must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum 300 words — Shorter releases lack the depth required for media pickup.
  • Original content only — Content must not have been published elsewhere online. Duplicate content will be rejected.
  • Factual and verifiable — All claims must be accurate and verifiable. Exaggerated or misleading claims will be rejected.
  • Newsworthy angle — Your release must announce something genuinely new: a product launch, company milestone, event, research finding, or significant development.
  • Valid contact information — A real name, email address, and company name must be provided.
  • Proper English — Releases with significant grammatical errors or poor writing will be rejected or returned for revision.

We accept press releases across all industries and regions. However, the following types of content are strictly prohibited:

  • Purely promotional or advertising content with no news value

  • Boilerplate: A standard “About [Company]” section at the end
  • Contact info: Name, title, email, phone, and website
  • End marker: Use ### to indicate the end of the release

  • Recommended size: 1200 × 480 pixels
  • Accepted formats: JPG, PNG, WebP
  • Maximum file size: 5MB
  • Image must be relevant to the press release content
